[Resolved] Access Header Logo in CLASSIC theme

Hi there, I am working with the CLAASIC theme from your libraray. Everythingv went nice, but when I updated from php 7.2.v to 7.4 as WP suggested my Header logo vanished and was replaced by the title. After a while I could get the logo-image back when I removed the RETNA-logo in the customizer. But I was left wondering: How can I edit the HEADER? the Header-widget ist empty! There is no placeholder for the logo-image, yet the logo appears. When I add a picture from the media libraray it appears under the logo, when I remove it it goes away again, but the logo stays although I cant find it in the widget and there are no elements either????

I fixed the problem by deleting the RETINA-logo in the customizer, but for future issues I just would like to understand WHY the logo is in the header although it cannot be found in the header widget or anywhere else and therefore not be edited….

If you add a Logo to Customizer > Site Identity then GP will automatically display that logo in the site header.
