Hello

When I mousehover in author name in a post. Author box display in posts below.

I notice in browser bottom left corner display my login username

Like – https://domain.com/author/authormane/

But I don’t want to display username. No need to display anchor link.

How can I disable this link as well as username?

Hi there,

Not quite sure if I understand.

When I hover over the author name below the title and date, I see “View all posts by Kathy Padgett”.

Not seeing the user name at the bottom left corner either.

But I don’t want to use a plugin. Is It possible to add by functions?

I think that would require quite a bit of custom codes unfortunately.

The plugin route is probably your best bet. Codes are codes, doesn’t really matter if they are in a plugin form or function form. The plugin you linked have really good review so I’d just use that.
