    Hi!

Can’t edit my page after editing for over an hour.

    Critical erorr.

Fourth time in 2 weeks time. It’s not the memory. Purged cache. Disabled LS cache and still didn’t work.

How come that I keep getting this error and how do I solve it? Cannot connect my hosting provider in the weekend.

    Thank you in advance.

PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 801112064 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 208896 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/onbezorgdontslag.nl/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-wpdb.php on line 2397\n

This is from my error log.

How is this possible. My memory limit is already 512. This should be enough right?

    Found the issue.

It’s because of my plugin WP Mail SMTP. WP Forms itself is not the issue.

UPDATE: it’s now because of my WP Forms. When enabling WP forms and disabling WP Mail SMTP: I get the critical error.

I don’t have support for this WP Mail SMTP. Any idea why WP Mail SMTP causes this critical error?

    Kind regards

And again.. stopped working after few edits. Even though I deactivated all plugins, except for GP and GB.

    This is truly frustrating.

The weird thing is that I only can’t edit my homepage.

    Hi Bob,

Sorry about the frustration. We haven’t received any other reports on this so I highly doubt that it’s a theme issue.

Just to confirm, have you tried #1 here and it does not resolve the issue?

Please make sure all custom functions are disabled as well.

If that still doesn’t help, can you try #4 in the same article to test?
