404 page messed up
9 replies · Started by Rani on February 25, 2018
Hi,
First thanks for the great theme.
I am having a strange issue - the 404 page on my site is messed up.
Tried to find plugin conflicts - and nothing.
Example - http://www.staging1.savey.co.il/agg
Would love your help.
Thanks ahead,
Rani
Hi,
Still waiting for an answer on this...

Hi there,
Sorry not sure how we've missed this!
I see a Tons of console errors: http://www.screencast.com/t/hiZEclBPs
Can you try disable all plugins except GP premium and let us have another look?
Thanks!
Hi Leo,
No problem.
I have disabled all the plugins except GP premium.
Thanks,
Rani
Hi,
Just making sure you see this - I can't do anything on my site now as long as all the plugins are disabled for your check.
Thanks,
Rani
And this is only happening on the 404 page?
I've forwarded this to Tom for him to have a look :)
Please leave it as it is for now.
Thanks!
Yes. Only on the 404. All other pages work great.
Thanks,
Rani
The page is looking for scripts at another domain.
For example: https://www.savey.co.il/wp-content/themes/generatepress/css/mobile.min.css?ver=2.0.2
However, that link isn't working. Is the theme installed at that URL?
The generatepress theme is now installed on a staging enviroment, while the production is still using another theme.
Could thia be the issue?
That's the issue. The staging server is still making resource calls to the production server. If those resources don't exist, you're going to run into issues.
You'll need to change the URL everywhere on your staging server, so the resources call to the staging server instead of the production server.
