I tried adding an image to my 404 page and now my 404 page will not show up at all.
How do I get my page back and add my image?

How are you adding the image?
Can you remove that first and see if it fixes the issue?
I tried adding it via the elements hook. It did not work so I deleted that element.
Ok so I fixed the page. Is there any way to add an image?
I got my image saved on imagur.com
If you use a block element then you can insert an image using the core image block:
