Ah, that's something I need to remove from the profiles - they don't apply with how we're using the forum.
You can currently use the support forum menu item in the main menu, but I agree that an extra button in there would be useful.

Maybe reduce "Open Support Topic" to "Open Topic", then you could fit a "Forum" link next to it?
