0 Comments Showing But Post Has Comments on Staging

We are rebuilding a site within a staging environment and noticed most if not all posts says: "0 thoughts on" when there are comments in that post. Can I check to make sure it's because it's a staging site with a different URL? ie. it will correct itself once we push to live?
If not, how do we troubleshoot this?

I don't believe this is an URL issue or a GP related issue.
Any chance you can disable all plugins except GP Premium to eliminate conflicts from other plugins first?

Thanks Leo. I have disabled all plugins and still the same issue. But I did find this is happening on the live site before staging was even created. Looks like a Core issue.
