For some reason, despite there being a header widget, it doesn’t seem to be displaying / showing up on the site. (We’ve included “TEST” in the widget)

Hi there,
That’s because you are using the navigation as a header option:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-as-a-header/Which means that the default header is removed.
Are you trying to add a widget on the right of search icon?

Ah I see, I would have thought the widget had some use… didn’t realize that. On a side note, it would have been cool for the widget to be removed if that option was checked. Anyways, thanks.
