Im wanting to adjust the font sizes in the page hero in elements but it doesn’t change.
How can I adjust the fonts in the elements section for page hero etc and still be able to have custom fonts and sizes in the page builder elementor?
How does all this work. what rules over the other?

I mean I’ve been trying to change the global typography settings via appearance, customize thinking that page hero fonts etc are based on the global font settings? is this correct?

Hi there,
so the Customiser > Typography settings work across the Theme, so any changes you make there will be reflected in the Page Hero.
For Elementor, you can go Elementor > Settings > and check Disable Default Fonts. Elementor will then use the Font settings you have in the Customiser. You can still make widget level Typography changes in Elementor ( say if you want a different font or size to what the customiser setting is ).

I am having the same issue with Hero Font Size, my Elementor is disabled.
I have selected the Customising – Typography – Headings and change Heading 1 (H1) Font Size slider to no effect on the Hero, code below

<h2>
create add and edit your portfolios here
</h2>so the font size for {{post_title}} is not changed when I modify and save the font size for H1 as detailed above ..
Am I missing something

Hmm that should definitely work.
Currently I’m seeing h1 is set at 40px. Is that not your customizer setting?

I have just fixed it, it was some CSS that was fixing the font size, overriding the setting in customise once removed it works !!

I am having the same problem. Elementor fonts are disabled. When I go to Customiser, it changes the font size for H1 page titles, but the the homepage hero title! Do I need to write a line of CSS to fix?
Blimey, sorry! Just realised it was the same as a previous writer here. There was custom CSS related to the Demo theme that was getting in my way, as it were. All sorted.
