Patricia
Hi;
I need to insert the images on the homepage (the 2 column blocks within content that you find when you scroll down the page). I’ve tried everything with Elementor but can’t get this done. I think there’s something I’m not understanding here.
Here’s the site I’m working on so you can see the greyed blocks where the images should be:
https://andrew-hewson.com/And here’s the demo site with the images displaying:
https://gpsites.co/aspire/Is there any documentation for this? How do we go about asking questions to solve the problems as they arise when customising demo sites; is there a particular section within the forum for this?
Thanks
Patri

Hi Patricia,
I’m Aspire’s designer.
These are background images that you can replace in the column style setting (middle tab.)
Please feel free to contact me at mor@flixframe.com and I can walk you through it and send you screenshots.

StaffCustomer SupportLooks like Mor has provided some insight here:
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/aspire-tutorial/#post-665583It needs to be modified within Elementor.

Leo I think you just linked me back to this same thread above. Did you mean to link to some other post thread?
I emailed Mor but haven’t heard back from her.
The main image in the site header with the button that says “Discover Aspire” on the homepage can’t be selected from within Elementor at least as far as I can see. Also within wordpress when I select any of the 5 pages within the template… none of them take me to the “homepage” where this “Dicover Aspire” button and computer image are. Its almost like some overall shell that has to be modified from somewhere else?
Thanks!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHey Will,
That specific image can be replaced in “Appearance > Elements > Home Page Header”.
Let me know if you need more info 🙂

Finally figured it out. The main page of the “Aspire” theme is a Dynamic Page so it can’t be edited in Elementor nor can it be edited from anywhere in pages.
This main site header has to be edited from the Header Elements pages (which replaced the old Page Header Module) from within the GP Header Elements tab… sounds confusing… and it is! Took me two days of clicking through WP and the GP plugin to finally find this.
Anyways glad I figured it out.

Hey Tom! I literally just finally figured this out myself… however I got there through the gp plugin configure menu and then went to elements from there… took me a while to learn about the dynamic page settings and how they work.
Your path through the Appearance menu is much easier! Thank you! Appreciate the help!

Hello, I can’t find the Aspire template in the library… can you tell me how to access it? Thanks

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
in the Site Library on the right hand size is a filter to select which Page Builder the site uses, it defaults to None, select Elementor and you will see the site.
