I just switched a site over to GeneratePress, and the comment section has disappeared on at least one page. Comments are allowed on the Discussion tab, and the Quick Edit screen shows that comments are enabled for this page: https://www.ultimatepapermache.com/patterns, but they don’t show up. I checked several other pages and the comments are still there. The one where they disappeared is rather important. What am I missing?

Hi there,

Are the working pages using Elementor?

If not then it you might need to check with Elementor.

I just checked, and that may be the problem. Pages built with Elementor after I switched to GP are not showing the comments. Older pages I edited with Elementor don’t show comments. I’ll contact them. Thanks.

OK, I figured it out. The Elementor templates remove the comments, so I need to use the default template. Thanks –
