Hi!
I’m trying to achieve having a hamburguer menu floated to the right of the logo, that activaes the slide out with the menu items.
So far, I haven’t been able to set up the correct options within the appearance -> customize option in WordPress. Menu Plus is activated.
Here are my settings at the moment: http://imgur.com/a/7BeBK
Any advice? Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
You would have to activate slide-out navigation for both both mobile and desktop:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/activating-slide-out-navigation/And make sure your menu is selected for slide-out navigation:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-wordpress-menu-builder/#setting-a-theme-locationLet me know if this helps.

I think they are… But no effect.

StaffCustomer SupportNo effect as you don’t see the menu toggle?
Any caching plugin by any chance? Can you provide a link to your site?
Thanks!

It’s a staging environment, so no cache.
Here’s the link. Let me know if you need admin privileges!
Thanks!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperYou’ll need to create a menu and set it as your primary menu: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-wordpress-menu-builder/#setting-a-theme-location
That way WP has control over it and GP can insert the icon.

Hi again!
Ok, I’ve assigned a blank menu and it seems to work now. Two more things though:
1. Any way to have the slide-out come from the right side instead of the left?
2. Any way to have the search in that slide-out menu? Thanks a lot!

Hi again and thanks for the great and quick support!
I managed to place the search bar in the slideout. The problem is that it sits on top of the nav links ( http://imgur.com/a/I3A6P ). Is there any way to place it below?
I haven’t been able to find a different hook for that.
Thanks a lot!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThere’s this hook which you can try: generate_after_slideout_navigation
Let me know if you need more info 🙂
