This week we made the biggest change to how GeneratePress is sold since GeneratePress One launched, and we think it’s a big step forward.
GeneratePress One is now the only way to buy our premium products. Every new customer gets everything in one license: GP Premium, GenerateBlocks Pro, GenerateCloud, and every product we release in the future.
There are three plans to choose from, including a new plan for people running a single site.
If you’re already a customer, here’s the short version: your plan isn’t changing. Keep your license active and it keeps its price and its sites. There’s more detail below.
Why we’re doing this
For years, new customers had to start with a question: “Which products do I need?” Should you get GP Premium, GenerateBlocks Pro, or both? Should you get GeneratePress One?
GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks were built to work together. The theme provides a fast, lightweight base, and the blocks give you the design freedom to build almost anything on top of it. Making people buy them separately added friction without adding value.
GeneratePress One removes that decision. You get the whole toolkit from day one, with nothing to compare and nothing to add later.
Meet the three plans
We built the new plans around how our community actually uses GeneratePress, from people with one site to agencies managing large portfolios.
1 Site
New: GeneratePress One now starts at $99 a year for one site, down from $149. This plan is for bloggers, small businesses, side projects and anyone with one site to look after.
10 Sites (most popular)
For freelancers, growing businesses and people with a few projects going at once. It’s the plan that fits most of our customers, with room to grow.
100 Sites
For agencies, developers and anyone managing a large number of client sites. Pay yearly, or pay once with Lifetime: no renewals, the same 100 sites, and everything the yearly plan includes for as long as we make it.
Every plan includes:
- GP Premium
- GenerateBlocks Pro
- GenerateCloud
- Every future product we release, at no extra cost
- All updates while your license is active
- Priority email support
Why GeneratePress One is the better deal
You get everything, always. You won’t need to compare add-ons or wonder whether you’re missing a feature. If we make it, GeneratePress One includes it.
Your toolkit grows at no extra cost. When we launch something new, GeneratePress One members get it automatically.
The products work best together. GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks Pro were designed side by side. Element templates, global styles, dynamic content and theme building all work best with the full stack.
You only manage one license. There’s one renewal and one key to manage, whether you look after 1 site or 100.
There’s a plan for one site. If you look after a single site, you no longer pay for 500.

Here’s a look at what we’re working on. All of it will be included in GeneratePress One at no extra cost.
GeneratePress AI
If you can build it with GeneratePress, GeneratePress AI can build it too, from page layouts to your Design System. It uses the same blocks and styles you already do, and the output is clean and fully editable. Guardrails stop it overstepping, and nothing changes until you approve it.
GeneratePress Template Engine
Elements changed how people build with GeneratePress. The Template Engine is what comes next. We’ve rebuilt it from the ground up on our modern tech, so you get a faster and more flexible way to design and display the templates that power your whole site.
Starter plugin
Set up your site with one plugin. It handles onboarding and setup for you, so you can skip the checklist and start building.
Each of these is coming soon, and we’ll share more as they get closer to launch. Keep an eye on the blog.
Already a customer? Your plan isn’t changing
We want to be completely clear about this:
- You won’t be moved to a new plan. You can keep renewing your current license, whether it’s GP Premium, GenerateBlocks Pro, GenerateCloud or GeneratePress One.
- As long as your license stays active, its price and its sites stay exactly as they are. That includes 500-site plans.
If you’re happy with what you have, keep your license renewing and nothing about your plan changes.
One separate change: how we take payments. We’re moving our payments to Paddle. Some subscribers will get an email asking them to update their payment method before their next renewal. Updating it keeps your license renewing on the same plan, at the same price. If your renewal depends on updating your payment method, we’ll email you at least two weeks before it.
Want everything?
If you have GP Premium, GenerateBlocks Pro or GenerateCloud on its own, you can upgrade to GeneratePress One from your account. Before you confirm, you’ll see exactly what you’ll pay: the new plan’s price, minus credit for the time left on what you’ve already paid.
One thing to know: the new plans go up to 100 sites. If your license has 500 sites today, upgrading moves it to the plan you choose, and you can’t go back to 500. Your account shows each plan’s site limit before you confirm, and it won’t let you choose a plan with fewer sites than you’re using.
Bought GenerateBlocks Pro on generateblocks.com? Upgrades for those licenses aren’t available yet in your account, but feel free to contact us and we can set it up.
Quick FAQ
Can I still buy GP Premium or GenerateBlocks Pro on their own?
No. Both come in every GeneratePress One plan. If you already have one, it keeps renewing as normal.
I have a 500-site plan. Do I keep it?
Yes. Keep your license active and it keeps its 500 sites and its price.
I already have GP Premium. Will my renewal price go up?
No. As long as your license stays active, it renews at the price you pay now, on the same number of sites.
I own a GP Premium Lifetime license. What happens?
It keeps working exactly as it does now. Your account also offers you two options:
- GeneratePress One at a lower yearly rate for Lifetime owners. Your Lifetime license stays as it is.
- Turning your license into GeneratePress One Lifetime (up to 100 sites), with credit for what you paid for it.
How do I upgrade to GeneratePress One?
Log in to your account, where you’ll see the upgrade options for your license.
What happens if I outgrow my plan?
Move up from 1 site to 10 or 100, or from yearly to Lifetime, in your account. You pay the difference, with credit for the time left on your current plan.
What’s included in “future products”?
Anything new we release is included in your GeneratePress One plan at no extra cost.
