I have installed the ACF plugin and created the author field group to show

    Author Description
    Experience
    Knows about
    Personal website
    Social Media profiles and everything

But I don’t know how to add this field to my default author’s archive page.

I need my archive page to be like this: https://www.lifewire.com/christine-baker-4783677

Is there any tutorial on how to do it?

    Hi there,

you can use a GP Block Element and GenerateBlocks.

    1. In Appearance > Elements -> Add New: Block element.
    2. in the element set the Type to Page Hero.
    3. set the Display Rules Location to : Author Archive

This will create the element before your author archives post loop.

    4. In the element block editor you can now build your template.

    To get your ACF fields:

    5. Add a Headline Block, in its sidebar block settings Activate the Dynamic Data and set its Content Source to Author Meta in the field provided add your ACF field name.

    Repeat this for each fields

    You mean this: https://prnt.sc/-bLyXpGFQgEN

But after publshing all i get is https://prnt.sc/CaWFSpUY6RVB

It shows the old author bio but not the bio I created using ACF

I have created the author meta in ACF and named it “Author” so my ACF field name is Author right?

    ACF Author: https://prnt.sc/IKPrJlkgOvG-

The “Author” is just your custom-filed group name, not the actual field name.

You need to replace the Author with author_description or other field names.
