Hi there, on my blog archive page I created a page hero element. When I reduce the width of the browser window it does not shrink accordingly. In the meantime, I added 30 px left and right for tablet and 15 px left and right for mobile. Can’t figure out the correct settings for the auto left and right to work.

    Thanks!

    Hi Bill,

For clarity, can you provide a screenshot of the issue?

Sorry, I did in the private information box, but looks like it did not save. I will try again. In the screen shot you can see how the gold container does not shrink with the main content. The page hero does not align with the page margins or width.

Do you want the “Our blog features helpful tips from a detail…” text to be full width or align with the grid of posts?

Hi Fernando, aligned to the grid of posts.

I see. There should be 3 Container Blocks.

The Parent Container should be set to 100% width. Add 30px left and right padding for this Container.

The inner Container should be set to 1262px max-width. Set the Brown Background color here. Add auto left and right margins.

The inner inner Container should be set to 600px max-width.

Thanks Fernando, that helped, but now the mobile view is not aligned to grid. I attached a screen shot.

You need to switch to the mobile responsive mode in the editor and check the left/right padding of the containers.
