    Hi there,

I don’t get the difference between Dynamic Data, Dynamic Content and Dynamic Options and when to use wich one of those. Can you please explain it to me?

    Thanks for the information

    Hi there,

Have you reviewed the documentation first?
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-blocks/
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-blocks/
    https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/dynamic-data-options-overview/

when to use wich one of those. Can you please explain it to me?

This question is too vague for us to answer, unfortunately – sometimes there are multiple methods to achieve the same thing.

Can you provide a specific example of what you are trying to achieve? Then we should be able to point you in the right direction.

    Hi Leo,

thank you very much for the quick reply.

To display the featured image in the post loop, I can use Dynamic Data, Dynamic Content as well as Dynamic Options.

If I want to include the Title dynamically, I have all three options. Only, when I do it using Dynamic Data, it shows me in the block navigation for the GP Headlines that it is the Title – same for the Excerpt and Date. That seems to be an advantage to me. But in your examples you use the Dynamic Options for this. Why not the Dynamic Data?

Or does it not matter which method I choose?

    Hi Gerd,

The main difference is that Dynamic options can be used anywhere whereas Dynamic Data is only usable through an Element.

For Content Templates, either can be used.

For title or any Term Meta on Page Heros for Archive pages, I would use the Dynamic Data.
