Leo
Hi there,
I have come across an akward problem which I am unable to solve. My website http://www.myberlin.nl shows three pages and two categories in the main menu bar. The categories are Berlijnse verhalen and Volkskrantreizen. They could be reached under:
https://myberlin.nl/archieven/category/volkskrantreizen
https://myberlin.nl/archieven/category/berlijnse-verhalenbut for some reason this is no longer correct: the respective links have become:
https://myberlin.nl/volkskrantreizen
https://myberlin.nl/berlijnse-verhalenfor reasons completely unknown to me (I did not make any changes).
I managed to edit the text of the “welkom” page where these links appear and that works. However, I do not succeed making these changes for the main menu bar. I went to Appearance > Menus > Categories but there is no editing option there.
Not sure what has happened here and I would be very grateful if you would have a solution for this problem. Many thanks!

Hi Leo,
There seems to be a redirection occurring.
Can you try #1 here first to debug: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/
It’s recommended to back up your site before proceeding with this.

Hi Fernando,
Thank you for your prompt reply. Do I need to go through all five steps or just the first one? (not 100% sure what you mean by #1).
Edit: I tried to make a backup (using UpDraft Plus) but it says the backup could not be completed. It made a resumption and again another one, and seems to be in a loop. I am getting a bit worried now…

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
what Fernando meant was try the first debugging tip:
1. Deactivate all of your plugins except for GP Premium and GenerateBlocks – does the issue still exist? If not, activate each plugin one by one until the issue happens again. This way, you can pinpoint the problem plugin. As the issue is related to peramlinks then it could be a SEO plugin causing that , or something has changed the structure in Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks
