    Hello,
I am trying to edit the footer in the Donate theme. I have only added the address and the social icons have disappeared. Before updating the address, I was trying to link the social icons to our social media pages, but I couldn’t edit them in any way. I have now made a mess of the footer, as everything is vertical, not horizontal across the page (minus the icons.)

Similarly, I had trouble updating the Donate Today button in the header.

The site is NFBofPA.org. I use a screen reader but have enough vision to notice the layout is wrong in the footer.

Is there any documentation for Donate that I could refer to? I’d appreciate any help!

    Regards,

    David

    Hi David,

We have a video walking through the Donate site template:

It seems you’ve added some other blocks to the footer template, if you haven’t modified the template a lot, you can remove the imported template and import it again to start over.

    Hi ying,

Awesome! Thanks for the link. The organization uses DreamHost and there were some page builder plugins that got installed with WP. I think that is part of the problem. Something called BoldGrid, I think.

If I do remove and then re-import the template, will that delete my menu structure?

    Have a nice weekend!

    Regards,

    David

Here’s an easier option, I’ve copied the Donate’s footer block HTML: https://pastebin.com/jd0gDeME

You can copy the code, go to the block element (footer), click on the 3 dots icon on the top right corner, switch to code editor, paste the code, then exit the code editor, the code should be converted to blocks.
