    Hi there,

I have an issue with loading pages on my website while having my logo shown in the top left position of my website. Regardless uploades as png or svg.

When I switch from page to page something goes wrong. I see a large square around the logo and the whole website “flickers”. Very visible. Especially when comparing it to other websites, such as generateblocks.com.

I don’t have this issue at all when removing my logo from the site. In that case all the pages load really smooth as desired.

By the way: when uploading my logo, for example one with 566.93 to 149.513 pixels, it is not possible to crop the file when uploading. It says:

    logo-primary.svg
An error occurred while cropping the image.

What could be the problem here, and how can it be fixed.

    I thank you in advance.

    Hi there,

first off, don’t try and crop an SVG logo, as they are not crop-able and WordPress doesn’t know to not offer that option.

So the main issue is your lazy loading plugin.
Check in that plugins settings for an option to exclude images from lazy loading. They generally provide a field where you can add classes to exclude images. add is-logo-image

As its above the fold you don’t want it lazy loaded anyway.
