Hi, Can you please show me how to get rid of white spacing above and below the first block, and longitudinal gaps between the second block.
Also I optimized the site for speed, I’m with Ezoic, though would love any suggestions to improve the speed further.

Can you first go to Appearance > Customize > Layout > Container and remove the Top padding?
I would say WP Rocket is a good choice. We also have recommended settings for Autoptimize: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/configuring-autoptimize/
