I don’t know if this has anything to do with the GP theme or not, but I have a little issue.
When customizing my website, adding a site title and a site icon, and having it published, so it should be saved, these 2 do not appear in Google when I google my own domain name.
So type in google: everythingverysmall.com and my website is the first thing to appear. The title there is cut off, only the tagline appears, and there is no new icon, but only the WordPress icon, which I don’t want for my brand.Am I doing something wrong while customizing? thanks!

Have you tried #1 here to eliminate conflicts from elsewhere first?
Both the site title and site icon are WP core features.
I would also recommend using an SEO plugin to customize the search result display if you aren’t already using one.

I didn’t realize that these were WP core features, so thanks for that. I researched it a little bit further and it seems that it can last a few days before it appears in Google search.
I don’t understand what you mean by your first question though, what do you mean with number 1 here? And where can I read about this?

But it doesn’t seem that was relevant if Google has now picked up the info. It can take a few days sometimes for this to happen.
