Edgar
Hi,
I am currently helping a client with his website and I purchase your premium plugin cause that’s how the website was originally designed using Generate Press. However, when I try to edit the home page, I don’t see all the options GeneratePRess offers to design the website.
I see just the code and noting on the right side of the page with the GeneratePress options. I tried installing a page builder plugin like Elementor but I still see the code and apparently, that code doesn’t work with Elementor.
I would like to share a screen shot, can you reply via email so I Can attach screenshots?
Thanks
Edgar

This is how my home page looks
You will see there is no option to edit the home page, i should be able to edit the page without coding.
I saw your support videos and documents and I don’t have this section

Hi Edgar,
It looks like you’re using the Classic Editor.
GenerateBlocks doesn’t work with the Classic Editor.
Can you check if you have a plugin forcing your Editor to turn into the old Class Editor? If so, try disabling it.

I deactivated all the plugins and Reinstalled the new WordPress version 6.2 and the classic Editor is still there.
Not sure what could be causing that. I am currently in the GeneratePress – Child Theme for CMT.
Do I need to switch to the main theme and not the Child Theme?
I’m currently running the newest version Version: 3.3.0 of the theme and Generate Press plugin.

StaffCustomer SupportYes, please switch to the parent theme to test.

I switch themes to the non Child version and the new gutenberg editor did come up and not the Classic Editor.
You can see it here.
However, As you can see per the screenshot even tho is not using the classic editor is still showing raw code, and switching themes broke the design.
I switch back to the child theme and back to square one with the Classic Editor.
So their something within the Child Theme that is forcing the Classic Editor.
Any other suggestions?

StaffCustomer SupportHowever, As you can see per the screenshot even tho is not using the classic editor is still showing raw code, and switching themes broke the design.
This page is built with classic editor (the
classictext under the title indicates that ), so even in the block editor, it will NOT convert the block automatically, this is normal behaviour. So their something within the Child Theme that is forcing the Classic Editor.
Try disabling all your custom functions in the child theme to test.
If that works, re-enable them one at a time to see which one is causing the issue.
