    Hi there! For some reason I can’t get my Google fonts to work on a client’s site – they were working yesterday, and they appear set up correctly in the Customizer still – I even tried deleting the fonts and re-adding them (via the Customizer just by Add Font). I deactivated Wordfence and for some reason the fonts went away after that? now it’s just showing generic serif and sans serif fonts. Would love any help! Site is behind a coming soon page so I’ll add creds below. Thanks so much for any guidance!!

    Hi Jessica,

    Upon first glance at your site, it appears that the fonts are loading correctly.
    Any specific section I should be looking at?
    let me know!

    Is there any way to send a screenshot? The set fonts are Mulish and Lora, and neither one is showing up for me. Oddly they appear fine in the editor, but on the front-end, they’re generic system fonts for serif and sans serif. I’ve cleared my cache and still see it.

    Hi Jessica,

    Here’s an article with regards to uploading screenshots: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#uploading-screenshots

    For clarity, can you send a screenshot of how it looks like from your end?

    Thanks for that! https://imgur.com/a/g32M2Wl and https://imgur.com/a/NVWECeu It’s throughout the whole site.

    Can you try adding those two fonts locally?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-local-fonts/

    Note: Adding them locally is also better for performance.

    Yay that worked! I’ve avoided this with Google Fonts since it’s so much easier to not locally add them, but I’ll do this going forward. One question – even with that PHP added in, I still couldn’t add the TTF files. Are they important/do I need them? I left the CSS for them but there’s no file they’re referencing. Any tips around this? I put the PHP in via Code Snippets and even tried another TTF specific code I found via Google, but no luck either way, the ttfs still always got rejected. Thanks!!

    Hi Jessica,

    If you’ve uploaded .woff file successfully, then it should be ok.

    You can use a tool like this to check the browser compatibility for different font files.

    As you can see most browsers support .woff.
