    Hello guys,

I’m trying to build a one-page website design which has the header disabled BUT still uses the primary navigation menu. The homepage then leads with a bold container/hero (with the logo and other content), then ideally the primary navigation sits directly beneath this and is then sticky as required further down the page – aware that when sticky, it will appear at the top of the page.

Currently I have the primary navigation enabled but of course this appears above the hero (and page content).

Can anyone advise on the best solution? I’ve provided private login details to see what I currently have in place.

As ever massive thanks in advance for your time.

    Hi there,

if you make the bold hero section a Block Element, and set its Hook to before_header and set its priority to 1 it will appear before the primary nav.

    Hello David,

    Thanks that worked perfectly!

I did though get stuck for longer than I want to admit 🙂

The issue (in case this happens for anyone else) was that I copied the block from the homepage to the block element, then for testing purposes applied “Hidden” temporarily to the block within the homepage content and as the block was copied (and not duplicated) the hidden values were applied to the element block too, so appeared to not work.
