Hi, today my child theme single.php file was reverted/overwritten back to the original single.php file and deleted all of my edits. Why did this happen? Can I get my edits back?

Hi Katelin,
I’ve replied to your other topic, the theme does NOT have control over your child theme files, and the theme updates will NOT affect child theme files as well.
You need to contact your host and check if they have a backup of your site asap.
