So I have two keys in my account (issue number 1), and I renewed just now and got a 3rd, brand-new key! (issue 2)

Please if someone from accounting could help me sort out this mess I would appreciate it.

I can change the keys on the sites to the new one but is this the best method?

    Thank you

I just saw that I could have upgraded to lifetime the old keys before buying a new yearly subscription for a discount, can I do that now? (I mean pay just the difference with what I paid today)

    Hi there,

if you open the Account / Billing form here:

    https://generatepress.com/contact/

And make the request there, it will go straight to the accounts team who will be able to assist with that.

    Hi there,

It looks like you purchased a new license key instead of renewing your existing key.

I can refund the new license key and you can choose whether you want to upgrade your existing license key to lifetime or just extend it another year.

Let me know if this works for you and I’ll proceed with the refund.

    Upgrading your license key: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/upgrading-license-keys/

    Renewing your license key: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/renewing-license-keys/

Thank you both for the reply.

Stacey, as I say above, there is an issue of having 2 pre-existing keys, I don’t know how that happened, so even if you proceed with the refund, I will still have 2 keys on my account.

I can change the keys on the sites (on the plugin settings) and then delete the unused keys, is that the right way to go about it?

    Ah sorry, I missed that!

It looks like when you originally purchased the system assigned two keys to your account – I’ve gone ahead and deleted the unused key from that purchase.

That should leave us with one key from your original purchase and the other key from the new purchase you just made. If you want to keep just one key in your account, I would suggest refunding the new purchase and then extending your existing license key.

    Let me know 🙂

After yesterday’s mix-up which left me unable to post here, we managed to sort things out.

I am marking this as resolved.
