Hey guys,
I am not sure why, but my site is performing very well everywhere on all devices except the chrome browser on my Ipad pro. Only on the that browser am I having the following issue. It does not occur on Safari on the same device. The issue is that I am having a large white space following the footer on all pages, even pages with different footer layouts. Do you guys have anything that might could help remedy such a problem? I’ve cleared all caches and I am clueless at this point. Thanks in advance.

Here is the way it is looking only on my ipad chrome browser.

Also, I have discovered another issue. I am using the wp-navigation-block in my footer to add a menu. It is having a few issues. First, the background goes away when you open the submenu. So it overwrites the content under it. Second, when it collapses to the hamburger menu icon, it loses all functionality. Do you have any ideas?

StaffCustomer Supportif you remove the nav block does that space go away?
kinda wondering if the two issue are related.March 20, 2023 at 9:20 am #2574410Wayne
So I removed it completely and the issue is still there. I purged all the caches after I removed it. I did figure out that my delay javascript was affecting the nav block, so I excluded them from flyingpress and the links are working, but the color schemes are still wacked up and the menu is trying to open so long that it runs past the footer, but doesn’t show up anymore. Even when it does that, it doesn’t cause the white space on other devices and browsers. It is really weird.

StaffCustomer SupportI’m seeing a different layout on your site, this is what I see:

Hello Ying,
The homepage in your screenshot has a different footer than the rest of the site. Despite that, the problem I was referencing is in the footer area. It occurs on all pages regardless of the footer layout. I hope that helps.

StaffCustomer SupportHum…I checked the footer for multiple pages, not seeing the issue using Mac and Chrome, unfortunately I don’t have an iPad to test.
https://www.screencast.com/t/jmBmw2izvIs there any other way for us to see the issue?

No, I am afraid not. That is the only way that I can reproduce the error myself. It works fine on my phone, laptop, and desktop. Only thing that isn’t working correctly is the Ipad. As for the wp-navigation-block, I deleted it. I am reformatting things and just using container and grids to create a new simple menu for the footer. I couldn’t get the other to work correctly. Disappointing because I liked the hamburger menu. But functionality is superior to looks. Thanks again David and Ying! I will live with the ipad issue. Everything else seems to work fine.

StaffCustomer SupportSorry to hear that, but yes, I totally agree that functionality is superior to looks 🙂
