In the font manager, there’s a small toggle button which says GOOGLE FONT API. What’s its purpose?

Hi there,
if you choose a Google Font in the Font Manager. You need to have that toggle enabled so GP will make the request from the Google servers.
If you have the font installed locally or have different fonts such as TypeKit then you DO NOT check that toggle.
On my site, I have used two different google fonts, and “Use Google Fonts API” is not turned on. But it’s still loading the fonts.

Hi Puneet,
I don’t see Google fonts being requested on your site, the only font it requested is GP which can be switched to SVG at customizer > general.
