[Support request] Custom featured blog post layout

how is the homepage set up? Is it a static page or showing the latest posts ?

Do you want to keep using the latest posts as the homepage?

If so, you can add the featured posts section by adding a query loop block (GenearateBlocks plugin) to a block element – page hero and assign it to frontpage, choose after_header hook.

Then create a block element – loop template, add another query loop block, you can exclude the 3 posts from it if you want, assign the block element to frontpage as well.
