I am very new to WP and still learning, so I apologize up front for the newby question. I have 4 pages, on the blog page there is primary navigation that only appears on the blog page. How do I eliminate this?

    Thank you so much!.
Ps I have tried to do it myself and cannot resolve.

It is right below the top (pink area) navigation. The part I want to delete is in the upper right, white area. Sorry I am still learning the descriptive language so I am probably not referring to things correctly.

    Hi Val,

Can you go to Appearance > Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation, and set the Navigation Location to No Navigation. Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-location/

    Fernando,
I am able to go to the suggestion below, but there is no option to set navigation to “no navigation.”

‘Can you go to Appearance > Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation, and set the Navigation Location to No Navigation’.

I am sorry I do not see it.

Thank you for your help! I am appreciative.

    Hi there,

a question, you’re currently wanting to keep the Top Bar for your menu.
Is this what you want ? As its generally best to keep the Primary Navigation for this.
    Let me know.

    David,

I am probably not referring correcty to the items or objects I want but I did put a link to the page where my ‘problem’ exists. Original comment in quotes.

The “White area” navigation is actually your Primary Menu.

What David is asking/confirming is if you’re really wanting to remove the Primary Menu as opposed to the “Pink area” menu.

Note: It’s best to keep the Primary Navigation as mentioned by David.

The alternative would be to remove the Top bar menu and turn the “White area” pink instead.

Let us know what you prefer.

    Fernando & David,
I knew I was mislabeling. I will get back to you on that. I want to thank everyone who responded with their help. Much appreciated.

    Fernando,

Hi! As you suggested, I will keep only the primary menu. But I want to keep the pink top bar.

    Two items to address:

    1. I somehow deleted the primary menu from my other pages, I need those back.
    2. The primary menu needs spacing between the words.

    Thanks again for the help!

Did you use a layout element to disable the primary navigation for some pages? Check appearance > elements.

    2. The primary menu needs spacing between the words.

Go to customizer> layout > primary navigation, and adjust the Menu Item Width.
