I’m using GeneratePress with an edited Scribe template.

I prefer to have the homepage as non-static (latest posts/blog page), but I’d also like to delete the Featured Article bit completely. I can de-link the Featured Article element from ‘blog’ under location, which removes the element layout, but I’m left with the Featured Article there nonetheless, just without the nice formatting. Is there a way to completely remove this section without switching to a static homepage?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jacob,

You can delete the— Featured Articles element.

    Hi Ying,

    Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, deleting the Featured Article element hasn’t resolved the issue. My website homepage still shows the latest article above the rest, and its featured image appears much bigger than the rest – it’s still there, but the unique element formatting is gone. I’d like to only have the Archive Cards showing on the home page. Is there a way to achieve this without turning it into a static page and editing?

    Thanks

I fixed it – it was a simple fix, I should’ve spotted it, sorry! I just had to uncheck ‘feature first post’ on the archive layout settings page.
