No – it’s impossible for us to tell without seeing the issue live as this is not a known issue.
What kind of widget are you referring to? What if you just add a simple text widget?

When I add a sidebar, I check the speed on a Google checker tool, and it really slows down the site.I don’t see anything specific to the sidebar that’s causing the issue.
Two of the main reasons are your images and your server.
For the images, you can replace them with next-gen format images. For the server’s response time, you’ll need to reach out to your Hosting provider regarding this.
How much did the performance change with the sidebar? Can you take screenshots of the performance results with and without the sidebar?
