    Hi there,
I am pretty new to using WP and GP but loving it thus far.
    1. I have a site (sent in private information) where I can’t seem to get the top bar (social icons, logo company name, CTA) to align center with the site nav which is the merged navigation menu. All container sizes and padding is the same but it’s a little off center – either the nav menu or top bar should be moved to get everythign aligned.
    2. In mobile view part of my text in the hero H1 title is cut off
    3. I have tried many different ways of making the mobile site image on the hero smaller whilst keeping the text / other buttons working but not sure what can be done here? I tried to CSS code to make mobile only images smaller but I think because of all the text / CTA I have it would not be possible right?

I am using the driver GP template (Generate Blocks and GP Premium) but changed a few other elements – not using any CSS as still new to it and its pretty much doing what I need it to.

    Appreciate the help.

    Thanks

    Syed

    4. Seems I have messed something else up as now my Top Bar / Menu elements look fine on the home page but on the other services page they are completely messed up despite using the same element which is merged site wide. I am trying to revert to old versions not sure where it went wrong.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

thanks for the feedback and kind words!

Can you disable any caching / optimization plugins. #4 looks to be the result of a badly cached file.

Then let me know, as we need to resolve that first before looking at the other requirements.

    Hi David – I think I have fixed #2 and #4 now.

    Thanks!

    5. When I copied blocks for a new page (privacy page) the cover doesn’t reach the full width but I checked all my container settings it all looks the same? Not sure what is happening here any ideas?

    Thanks,

Does your new page’s content container set to full width? If not, please set the content container to full width first.

The setting is in the layout metabox in the page editor.

I just fixed that thanks! With respect to the centering for the top bar is there any thing you can suggest? It’s small but annoying…

For the icons, set the alignment to left, for the button, set the alignment to right.

Under the Container settings for the icons there is no option to make them on the left although they look fine to me.

I think the issue now is:

    1. Text and Logo although look centre relative to the buttons and click to call dont line up centre with the header below it
    2. There is too much verticate space between the top bar and the site navigation – I cant seem to reduce (padding / margin – all set to 0 and making them -ve seems to have no impact)
    3. How to make the icon on the left of the text before it was fine not its above and I cant see the option to move it? Icon and Text in top bar are not showing in mobile anymore
    4. I am getting confused on what is best container setting to use to move these objects – default / block / inline / flex-inline etc?
    5. When I setup a new page and copy content the formatting on the top bar and navigation go completely haywire (example page in menu) – these were pages with full container and blocks copied but if I add new text the whole top bar and banner looks wrong – so I had to remove the top bar element for these 2 pages (privacy policy / terms of service) – I have left it ON so you can see now in terms of service linked below which looks wrong (I have switched the same element off for privacy policy page)

Rest of site pages (Home / Services) look consistent if not perfect due to the vertical space. I wa

Any idea why this is happening?

    Thanks,

    Hi Syed,

Unfortunately we have lost track of the progress of your issues and which ones have been resolved etc.

This is the exact reason why we’ve asked the users to keep one question per topic in our forum rules:
    https://www.screencast.com/t/1qJaQJ1D

Can you please open one new topic for each of the remaining questions so we can handle it that way?

    Thanks.
