The Spacious off-canvas menu was mistakenly deleted.

I’ve attempted to replicate it with the Menu Plus module.
When I adjusted the navigation location to the left sidebar, the hamburger menu on desktop and tablet disappeared.

    1. Can I add the original Spacious off-canvas menu back?
    2. If not, can I replicate it with the Menu Plus off-canvas menu? If so, how do I bring back the hamburger?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Timothy,

To clarify, do you have the Off Canvas Panel set to on? Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/off-canvas-panel-overview/

What Navigation Location do you have set as well in Appearance > CUstomize > Layout > Primary Navigation? Do you have it set to No Navigation? If so, can you set it to something different?

Just create and assign an empty menu so that nothing appears in the Primary Nav if you don’t want anything there.

    Hi Fernando,

    1. Correct. I followed that reference to create this off-canvas menu.

    2. Navigation Location is set to Left Sidebar. It was when I made this change that the hamburger disappeared from desktop and tablet.

    3. Correct. I did.

    Thank you.

I see. Where do you want the Hamburger button for the Off Canvas Menu to appear?

Where it appears in the Spacious off-canvas menu:
In the top left corner of the left sidebar.

    Spacious theme with hamburger

I see. Try setting the Navigation Location to Above header instead. Let’s see what happens afterward.

    What appears:
The four published pages followed by the hamburger button and then the search button at the far right.

Note: These pages are NOT included in the off-canvas menu nor the primary menu. They should not be appearing at the top of the site.

I created these pages in Gutenberg before GeneratePress and Spacious were installed.

Did you revert it? I’m not seeing those right now.

Can you re-set it to Above header, and I’ll check what’s going on?

    I did revert it. Sorry.

    It’s reset to Above header.

    Thank you.

Can you double-check in Appearance > Menus or Appearance > Customize > Menus that the Menu set for the Primary Navigation is empty?

If it is, can you provide admin login credentials and I’ll check what needs to be done?

Please use the Private Information field for this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information

You haven’t enabled the “Primary Menu” as the Primary menu yet. See: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuAyQQv

    Can you enable it first?

    Done.

    Aha. That worked!

    Stupid mistake.

    Thanks for finding it.

    Thank you!
