    Hi,
I don’t see the template settings sidebar.
All I see is “Current Settings Options” and below that the name of my site. And nothing more is visible. The entire page is white, without the main page. What can I do? My PHP is 7.4

    Thank you very much

    Hi there,

Not sure if I fully understand the question but sounds like there might be some conflicts going on.

Can you try #1 in this article first?
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/

If that doesn’t help then try #4 in the same article to test.

    My PHP is 7.4

That’s pretty old – you would want to contact your hosting support and request an upgrade to PHP8+

It works with TwentySeventeen template, I disabled all plugins and changed PHP to 8.1.
    It’s still the same

Can you show me a screenshot of what you are seeing with GP and TwentySeventeen?

Strange – I’ve seen this issue from time to time but it’s always been a plugin conflict or custom function conflict.

Any chance you can provide the login info for us to take a look?
Please disable all plugins except for GP Premium and activate the parent theme if you are using a child theme.

    Let me know 🙂

    I have there thouse issues

    Outdatet SQL services
The SQL server is a required piece of software for the database WordPress uses to store all your site’s content and settings.

For optimal performance and security reasons, you should consider running MariaDB version 10.3 or higher. Contact your web hosting company to correct this.

You should use a persistent object cache
A persistent object cache makes your site’s database more efficient, resulting in faster load times because WordPress can retrieve your site’s content and settings much more quickly.

Your hosting provider can tell you if a persistent object cache can be enabled on your site.

And I should remove outdated themes and inactive plugins

You should talk to your host about: Outdatet SQL services
    As that should be updated.
But i cannot see that being the cause of this problem.

What about the settings on the server as asked in Point 2 above ?

Would deleting the whole template and reinstalling it fix the problem?

I am not sure it will. You can try.

You were right, uninstalling the template and GP premium didn’t fix anything.

When on the customizer, can your Right Click > Inspect the page to open the Browser Developers tools, check the Console tab, are there any errors ?
