Hi there, I am using a GenerateBlocks H from the CONTACT page of the CAPITAL-theme and it behaves very strangely getting oriented vertically and not from left to right. You can check it out here:

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Those text blocks are inside a container block, which is inside the Grid Column Container block, and that Column Container has a Width of 30% which is why the column is so narrow.

But the container has a 50% width (not 30% and even if it had it shouldn´t run the text down in such a narrow line) in desktop mode and 100% in tablet and mobile mode. Also in tablet and mobile mode the type (H) is oriented correctly (horizontally), but it is CENTERED, which is not intended nor can be originated to any editing options I have found so far. And I´ve been trying to fix this for about an hour now.

I see what you mean, but it makes things ever more confusing, since i haven´t created this 30% sub-grid nor can I view it in the Gutenberg/ Generateblocks editor, nor can I change it. I guess it has been created by the Generateblocks “H” – feature, which I took over by the original CAPITAL theme and ttried to work with so it can accomadte three instead of the original 1 lines, which has been difficult and tiresome, because it´s hard giving strange paragraph breaks and no options of line spacing, but anyhow; how can I change the column width? After all in the above H thes still seem to work. Also why is this H inside a div class named “site-footer”. This is clearly not a footer…. Just trying to understand, but getting deeper into it I do not find the logic, nor the options to edit these things within the options given by Gutenberg/ GenerateBlocks editor.

StaffCustomer SupportWas there any HTML of shortcodes added to any of those blocks ?
As it could some broken HTML that is causing the problem. NB. If there is broken HTML then the browser will try to fix that, often meaning it adds extra closing tags around the content, which leads to the kind of issue seen there.March 10, 2023 at 6:31 am #2562889Jo
Hi David,
I just deleted the block, copied the original theme block in and edited again. Now it works. 🙂
