I am using info from the site library and need to know how to make the featured image the full image- fullwidth so it’s not cutoff on a post. Thank you!

Just put my site in the private information field.

    Hi Heath,

Just to confirm, are you looking to have the featured image take the entire container width?

Do you remember which site library template you are using?

    Let me know 🙂

I do want it to be fullwidth on the mobile/tablet version while keeping the same looks if that makes sense.

I used the info theme and wanted to make that adjustment.

Are you wanting to remove the 20px padding shown here?

I would say yes as long as it isn’t going to mess with anything else as far as looks/ design goes.

I would like for the full image to show so nothing is cut off in the post, if that is possible.

    Hi Heath,

I’m having some difficulty picturing exactly what you are after.
This layout is certainly a bit hard to make the full image show as the text/title block is covering a portion of it.

Any chance you can provide an example of what you are trying to achieve here?
    Perhaps something some another template?

    Thanks.

    Hi Leo,

I know I’m not explaining it very well. I want the full image to appear in the post without being cut off.

With this current view, the photo just looks zoomed in and the outer portions are cutoff.

I used a screenshot of the homepage of my own website as an example. You can see the full image but in the post it is cut off.

So the home page picture does not have the post title and post meta on top of it – just the featured image itself.

Is that what you are after?

If so where and how would the title and post meta appear?

Yes. On mobile I don’t want the text on top. Just the full featured image.

I really like the post meta how it shows. So I’d like the full image and then everything to be the same as it is. Like the title, then author name date and then category.

I’m still a little bit confused.

Are we dealing with desktop or mobile right now? Can we start with the desktop first?

What is the exact layout you are trying to achieve on the desktop?

In the post I’d like for them to be the same.

    Featured image
    Then title
    Then post meta

    Featured image
    Then title
    Then post meta

That would actually be the default layout without any page hero.

So in this case, can you set the status of Post Page Hero block element to draft first (don’t delete it yet)?
