Hello,
It would be nice to have a dedicated page for each of the prebuilt sites/themes in the Site Library – is there any such page? Or a video or documentation limited to only one particular theme?
I have loaded Brand from the Site Library and would like to know how to customize it, instead of learning everything from scratch.
Thank you

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,

There isn’t unfortunately.
All the site library templates are constructed very similarly though so you shouldn’t need to relearn something every time.
Do you have any specific questions that I might be able to answer for Brand?
Let me know 🙂

Hi Leo,
Thank you for your prompt reply – I wanted to add an accordian type menu to the off canvas menu and also add another menu to the header on the right side, also add social media sharing icons etc. etc.
The documentation though extensive is too esoteric – is there a dedicated playlist for newbies like me which has a systematic detailed tutorials about the whole GeneratePress theme and its functions – for instance how do I find the hooks in the template Brand?
Thank you for all your help.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
simple answer, no. But we are happy to provide any info you need via support.
For a lot of the sites there config and layout are fairly similar, and therefore making changes to them is more straight forward. The Brand site though is very niche, the designer ( Mike Oliver ) built it for brand managers, hence the long primary sidebar navigation. Is this something you want to keep ? As making the other nav changes you mention will heavily rely on whether this is required.

Namaste David,
I am using the Brand template for teaching Shrimad Bhagavad Gita – which is the holiest book of Hindus at http://www.GitaKiVaani.com.
I will use the off-canvas menu to display the chapters – which are 18 in numbers having numerous lessons for each of the chapters – I am creating a separate page for each of the chapters. Hence I need an accordion menu, so that when a chapter is clicked upon – it expands and shows the underlying lessons.
I also want to show the menu on the right of the header to show the contact and about us, terms etc.
I also want to know the positions of the hooks present in the Brand template to place the social media sharing icons – and now that you know the template in question and you being an expert would know the ‘design elements’ used in it including the ‘hooks’, kindly share with me the same, enabling me to search for those exact topics instead of trying to figure out what to do next and then trouble you after searching unsuccessfully.
Thank you for your patience and all your help.

StaffCustomer SupportThe URL you linked to, is using the Scribe site. Just so I am 100% sure, are you going to change to the Brand site ie. https://gpsites.co/brand – please confirm 🙂

Sorry about that, we are in different time zones and I have to get this blog up and running at the earliest. So I changed the template from Brand to Scribe – but forgot to inform you.
I realized that as a newbie, it would be wise to just reverse engineer a ready-made template that needs minimum alteration.
I am closing this ticket.
thank you for all your help
