    Hi,

I tried to do this on my own but was unsuccessful.

I want to create a page hero element on my digital magazine for new company hires, like this one (not GeneratePress): https://www.healthcarebusinesstoday.com/national-council-on-aging-names-brenda-sulick-chief-advocacy-and-engagement-officer/ — where the featured image is left justified and inline with the content.

Here’s how the page looks now (using GeneratePress): https://www.wphealthcarenews.com/leroy-ball-named-to-highmark-inc-s-board-of-directors/ . This is the default Page Hero element which is fine for most of my articles, except for the new hires. I rather have the featured image sit on the left side of the content inline with the rest of the content like in the example above.

    I hope that’s clear!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

so for example – you would use a Page Hero element, as the image needs to be in your post content.

    I would:

    1. Don’t add the Page Hero to those pages.
    2. Add a Featured image to the News Starter post.
    3. Disable it so it won’t be displayed:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/

NOTE: 2 & 3 is only required if you want to have a featured image for display in your archives or for social sharing.

    4. Now in the Post Content, add a GenerateBlocks Image block at the top of the post for displaying your image. You can then set the Image Block to Float Left, set its size in the sidebar settings and add some margin to get that design.

    That worked great, thank you.
