    Hi there,

I would like to make sure that I understand the procedure for GB 1.7 correctly.

If I understand correctly, I need the inner container ONLY if my page is set to full width (content-container: full-width)
I only have this setting for the frontpage, all my other pages have the setting: standard (i.e. the customizer setting is used: 1200px, padding: 80 20 140 20).

Is it correct, that I would need an inner Container only for my frontpage sections?
Would I need an inner container at all for all the other pages?

    Hi Stefanie,

Yes, your understanding is generally correct.

Only in some cases, let’s say you have a container block in a non-home page which is not full width, then you add a background image with opacity or a background image and gradient, in another word, the background has a pseudo-element, then you will need to add an inner container which is set to position:relative, so that your content can be shown above the pseudo-element.
