Jo
Good morning,
today I get this error message:
“403
ForbiddenAccess to this resource on the server is denied!
Proudly powered by LiteSpeed Web Server
Please be advised that LiteSpeed Technologies Inc. is not a web hosting company and, as such, has no control over content found on this site.”
as soon as I want to call up categories such as User, Posts, Settings, …. in my WP interface!
Also the plugins are locked so I can’t delete this LiteSpeed WebServer plugin.
I am using the CLASSIC theme from your site libraray which came with the LiteSpeed WebServer plugin installed. (https://fctecnico.de)
What can I do?

Hi Jo,
Are you able to access your FTP? If so you can disable that plugin through that. This article may help: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-wp-admin/#:~:text=Plugins%20Using%20phpMyAdmin-,Method%201.%20Deactivate%20All%20WordPress%20Plugins%20Using%20FTP,-In%20this%20method
You can try reaching out to your Hosting Provider for assistance regarding this.

Hi Fernando, no I tried renaming the plugin-folder as suggested in the video and it didn´t change a thing. I still get the same error message, which I´d like to send you a jpeg-picture of- how can I do it?
I also contacted my host-provider, who told me to deactivate the plugin, which is a useless advice, since I cannot access the plugins!
I also contacted LiteSpeed, but got no answers!

Can you try disabling all plugins through your FTP?

I also got a folder called “X” in my plugin folder which I never installed.
I deleted it in the FTP-Manager. I also deleted the LiteSpeed-Plugin, but my site is still uneditable, not giving me access!
I can give you my WP-access-Email and password, so you can check it out and see what you can do….?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
speak to your hosting company, and explain the issue, they should be able to access your plugins folder and remove the offending plugin if that is the issue.
unfortunately it is not something that we can assist with as it needs to be fixed at the server level.

Hi David,
yeah I finally resolved the issue with them. I had to delete my public_html folder and upload the backup. It´s o.k. now. I deleted the LiteSpeed plugin then of course.
Thanks for your support!!!
