Sam
Greetings.
I created a block element called ‘Testimonials’ and applied ‘Front page’ as ‘Location’ to display it on the homepage. However, it does not show up there.
Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
Earlier, I was able to use something called Sections and create multiple parts of a page within the same page. Was that feature retired?
Thank you, will appreciate a prompt response.

I see it was deprecated at https://docs.generatepress.com/article/sections-overview/
I have GenerateBlocks plugin (free version) installed, however, I don’t see where I can create advanced layouts with flexible grids.
My goals right now are:
1. To be able to create a block of content and be able to reuse it at multiple places in the website without having to duplicate content.
2. To achieve what Sections feature achieved in the past. Please educate me a bit on how to achieve the above goals.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
question – are you using the Block Editor ?
If you’re are then you should see the additional blocks that it adds to the editor.Start with a Container Block to create your Sections:
https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/container-overview/
And within that you can add Grid BlocK:
https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/grid-overview/
NOTE a grid block is a wrapper with a bunch of Container Blocks inside ( one for each grid item ).

I am using the Classic Editor. Please point me to the Block editor.
Thank you for the links. I will try after I get block editor.

StaffCustomer SupportHi Sam,
The block editor is the default editor in WordPress now, if you disable the Classic editor plugin, the editor should change to block editor immediately.

Ok.
Do you mean Gutenberg?
Will changing to the block editor affect my present pages and posts in any way?
Thank you.

StaffCustomer SupportGo to Dashboard > Settings > Writing.
The classic editor plugin will have added an option:Allow users to switch editors– set that toYes
You can now choose which editor you want to edit a page or post with.As a general note, if you open a Classic Edited post using the Block editor, then ALL of your content will be kept as it was inside of a Classic Editor Block, which gives you an option to convert to blocks.
