Markus
HI,
we use Gutenberg so far as Editor for our posts. Now I saw there exist a plugin GenerateBlocks which seems more compatible with GP.
Will it be better to create all posts with GenerateBlocks instead of Gutenberg? Or doesn’t its matter with which Editor the posts created? When I change something in the GP configs like Website icon and Logo, I can see the changes in GP instantly, but when I preview a post, I can´t so those changes. What could be the problem in this case?
The GP Theme is activated in WP.
I saw there are some other configurations under “Theme” -> “GeneratePress” -> “Seiten-Bibliothek”. Do I have to select a specific Site style as well?
What could be a good site style for a wiki site? Thanks for any hint.
Cheers

StaffCustomer SupportHi Markus,
Gutenberg is the name of the block editor, and GenerateBlocks is a block provider plugin that is based on the Gutenberg editor.
It’s also one of Tom’s (GP founder/lead developer) plugins. For sure GB offers more control over WP’s core blocks which are the default for Gutenberg.
but when I preview a post, I can´t so those changes. What could be the problem in this case?
It’s likely a cache issue.
Does
Seiten-Bibliothekmean site library? If so, no you don’t have to use any of the templates from the site library if you prefer starting from scratch. The templates are there for users to have a quick start.February 7, 2023 at 3:48 am #2524248Markus
Hello Ying,
it seems not a plugin problem. I have deactivated all and still have the problem.
I add a Logo and a con under Website information in GP options. Everything looks fine, but when I open a preview of a post, there is no Logo or footer changes visible.I also installed Litespeed and purge all site caches, but this doesn´t also solved the problem.
What can I try as well?Cheers

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
can you make sure that in the Customizer, the changes have been Published, and NOT Saved as Draft ?
