I’m using Avery child theme and have set the featured image to appear in full width. I now wish to remove the title from the featured image. I’d like it to below the featured image and above the blog article. I went into Appearance/Elements/Global Post Headers. I then went into Elements mode/Block Element. I selected Disable Title. This however is not removing the title from the featured image. Nor is it moving the title below the image. Is there anywhere else I need to make this adjustment? Thanks so much.

Hi Diahann,
For reference, can you provide the link to a post on your site? We’ll check your current setup and see what needs to be done.
You may use the Private Information field for this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information

StaffCustomer SupportThe current title is added within the block element page hero with a GB headline block with the dynamic property – you would need to actually remove the headline block there.
Let me know if this helps 🙂

I’m new to Generate and still trying to learn the lay. Where would I look for the block page hero? A setting? Or in code? I’m not afraid to dig into code, but am noticing Generate has a lot of nice setting features where perhaps I should go first.

Thanks. I found your reference under Appearance/Elements/Global Post Headers. However, if I delete that Headline, it completely deletes it from the post. I don’t wish to do that. I’d like to move it down from the Featured Image and have it displayed just above the blog content (the same way it would look if there were no featured image).
How should I set this block to do that?

OK, got it, in a roundabout way. I duplicated the GB headline block. In the top block I left the featured image and deleted the headline and meta info. In the lower block, I removed the featured image as the background image option under Dynamic Data. Under Spacing, I then adjusted margins and minimum height to where I wanted them. Thanks again for your help!
