Hello,
Is there a way to display the author website URL instead of the default archive link in the post metadata?
Ideally, with PHP code I can add to the Code Snippets plugin (for the default blog / archive / single post).

Yes, it’s possible.
Do you have more than one author?
Yes, there are multiple authors.
In that case, I would recommend using a block element – post meta template, and using a headline block to pull the author meta:
user_url.
