So testing 1.7 and using the new Container + Inner Container. I have set Element for Front Page = full width and merged header.
Trying to get the pre-1.7 Hero Container with 1200 inner container.
So:
1. Outer Container = Flex. I can get Headline to be placed ALIGN Items = Center and Justify Content = Center.
2. How do I get Headline to be contained in 1200 pixel inner container left aligned? It seems to be full width left aligned and not inner container left aligned. Inner container has Max Width = GLOBAL 1200 pixel set.It seems I should set Outer Container to Center Center and then Inner Container to Justify Content Start but no luck.
What am I missing?

auto.Moreover, for the setup you want to achieve, as opposed to setting the max-width, you can just set the
widthsetting instead.Interesting. So Width = 1200px worked. I would have thought Max Width = Global 1200 should also do the same thing? I must be missing something crucial here.
Do you think I can trouble you for steps on how to create say a typical hero section using the new Containers? Just want to create a default hero section with left side with a Heading + Text below + button that goes about 60% of 1200 inner container. Maybe something like the hero section of Inbound in the asset library?
max-widthshould work. Perhaps, you didn’t have the left and right margins set to auto a while ago?Unfortunately, we don’t fully support GB 1.7 as of yet as it’s still in the testing phase. We will fully support it once it’s released.
Thanks Fernando. As a test, I tried to use the old method GRID to build a hero section and it seems the functionality for this has also changed. The old method no longer works to say, build this hero section.
I really do think some tutorials would be very helpful. I remember how helpful Leo’s videos were in the past when he highlighted different ways to build different things. Through his videos, we really learned how to maximize the power of GP and GB, not just for specifics of what was in the videos but the extra tips in learning the tool functionality was very helpful.
Yes, we’ll most likely be updating our articles for the GB Blocks right before the release version comes out or a bit after.
