Aaron
Hello, I have pages that are not indexable because of H1 tag missing. I believe they are duplicate pages. Could you please help me with this issue?

Hi Aaron,
Where are you getting this report?
Moreover, can you provide the link to these “duplicate” pages which have no h1?
You may use the Private Information field for this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information

Hello, I’m getting this through ahrefs. Here is the link: https://app.ahrefs.com/site-audit/3130823/73/data-explorer?columns=pageRating%2Curl%2Ctraffic%2ChttpCode%2Cdepth%2Ch1%2Ch1Length%2CnrH1%2Ccompliant&filterId=e29b87ac6311cffd6273e3758dd92cd7&issueId=838c947a-001a-11e8-823b-001e67ed4656

That’s odd. The links Ahrefs are referring to have H1 tags. Is it failing to detect it properly?
Can you reach out to Ahrefs and see if they have an insight regarding this?

I’m also getting the same issue. And I found that this problem is created when we enable Disable Element “content title” .Can you help to resolve this?

Hello there,
After you disabled to Content Title, did you add your own H1 title?
March 20, 2023 at 11:33 pm #2575035abhub
Generally, in WordPress title will become the h1 tag automatically. I disabled the title for some reason. If I untick the check mark, the H1 tag becomes visible. We need to disable the title from the page, but the h1 tag remains constant in the backend.

If that’s the case, instead of disabling it, use custom CSS to just hide it. If you can share the link to the page in question, we can try helping you with the CSS.
Note: Having an H1 in every page is important SEO-wise.

To clarify, are you keeping this one shown?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuADgZE

The above-shared screenshot can be shown, and I use it in the h2 tag. I need to hide “Alloy Press: Best Source Technology, Marketing, Health & More. – Alloy Press” this title from the page.

Why not just turn the text from the screenshot an H1 and disable the Content Title?
March 21, 2023 at 12:39 am #2575095abhub
My aim is to make the title as an H1 tag and disable it. Previously, this issue did not persist when we hide the content title through the theme’s option. This is okay to solve the issue temporarily with CSS, but I recommend fixing this issue in the theme in the next update.

I’m not sure I understand. If you disable the Content Title, the H1 will be removed unless you add a new one. The one you currently have added is just an H2. If you replace it with an H1, the issue should no longer exist.

If I untick the content title from Disable Element, the H1 tag enables and works; if I tick the content title from disable element, H1 tag is also removed. Changing the h2 to h1 is not my aim. My aim is to make the title as an H1 tag and hide it from the page.
