When I create a link with “Add link”-function in Block editor, search function won’t find any pages/posts when I start to type.
I will only get “Attachment” hits.
When I try this with one of my other GP-sites pages/posts will be found.
I also tried to switch to old Editor mode and “Add link”-function works fine.I have disabled all plugins and even switched theme without success.
Do I miss something? 🙈January 18, 2023 at 8:22 am #2500442David
StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
that is peculiar, what happens if you go to Settings > Permalinks and Click Save Changes to rebuild the Permalinks, then clear any cahces. Does it find the pages/posts now ?

Done without success.
Any special cache?January 18, 2023 at 9:59 am #2500568David
StaffCustomer SupportIts not a theme related thing, and we dont add any caching.
What block is it on ? Just the ordinary core text block ?

Yes, core text block.
Same issue if I use List-block or GP Headline-block.

StaffCustomer SupportCan i disable plugins and switch theme if needed ?
January 19, 2023 at 5:56 am #2501423WebbPlatsen
yes you can
January 19, 2023 at 6:29 am #2501449David
StaffCustomer SupportI added TwentyTwenty and disabled all the plugins. And the link issue remains.
But in the Dashboard Admin Menu there is a Menu called:
Links– what is that and where does it come from ?
As there is no child theme or plugins – i don’t know how that can be there.I have left the site with TwentyTwenty and no plugins so you can see.

No idea.
Nothing I have used and I have missed this 🙈
Table “wp_links” contains these items.January 19, 2023 at 7:11 am #2501492WebbPlatsen
This seems to be a core function.
In “wp-admin” you got link-manager.php and some other link-*.php files.
January 19, 2023 at 7:56 am #2501712David
StaffCustomer Supportyeah, i know its part of WP Core, but i haven’t seen that in the admin on any recent sites.
Even the codex for it is really old lolhttps://codex.wordpress.org/Links_Manager
Was this site built from an older site ?
January 19, 2023 at 7:57 am #2501715WebbPlatsen
yes, older.

StaffCustomer SupportAs the problem remains with a WP Theme and no plugins, then i can only guess their could be an issue with the database, it could be some legacy code that is causing problems.
