Brackets [] not showing up on WordPress posts. Is there code I can add to stop this from happening? I recently had someone fix up my site and change the font so I don’t know if that is the issue.

    Hi there,

WordPress thinks its a shortcode, so you have to escape by wrapping them in more square brackets

    eg. [[like so]]

Hi, unfortunately that doesn’t work for me. Just shows up with one bracket and no text, like this [

Can you copy and paste your original content here in your next reply? Before hitting submit highlight the text and click the code button so it keeps the formatting, i can then see whats going on

"I hope you're having a great [week, day]."

    “I hope you have a two-coffee (versus a four-coffee) day.”

“What’s the latest in your world?”

Have you made any plans for the weekend?

"Are you excited for [upcoming event]?"

"I hope you enjoyed [industry event]."

    Hi there,

I tested on my site, and it has no issue showing the brackets.

What’s your WP version? Is it up to date?

If so, can you try disabling all plugins except GP premium to test?

On my screen, it doesn’t show up like that at all: https://app.screencast.com/90TPxBVkg2UWz
WP version is up to date. So you think a plugin is causing this?

As I can’t replicate this issue on my end, it’s likely an issue in your local environment, so the first step is to eliminate plugin conflicts.

Can you take a screenshot of the editor where we can see the []?
