I have an animated svg logo that works fine in the footer when I add the svg code into an html block. I’m wondering if there’s a way to use elements to override the site logos by pasting in the svg code. I’ve tried to use the header element upload buttons but the svg doesn’t show up when I try it this way, it’s just a blank space in the nav.

Right now the logo in the header is not an animated svg (it’s blue). The animated svg is in the footer (red).

    Thanks.

    hi there,

You can try using a block element - site headerto override the entire site header:https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-site-header/

It turns out I just had to tweak my SVG file. An animated SVG with CSS and no JS in it seems to work fine when uploaded through the ‘customize’ interface.
